I had the experience of working with Matt on the virtual keynote production for Microsoft. The keynote was for one of Microsoft's Senior Leadership Team at our Build Conference in May 2020. This was the first of our flagship events to run virtually. It was important to us not to simply tape a keynote, in a similar manner to how we would have delivered it from a stage/in person. We wanted to make a more compact show inspired by television production. Matt shepherded us through the process with huge skill, perseverance and clarity of purpose. Not only did he help and manage the pre-production work across multiple teams/colleagues/segments; but on the day of the shoot acted as the Broadcast Director, calling the multi-cam show and enabling us to turn around that day and go into Edit, which he also then led! In my 15 yrs at Microsoft and 10+ involved in our Corporate events and video production, this was the quickest and most productive collaboration I have enjoyed. I would not hesitate to work with Matt again and recommend others consider him for their projects.
